This Week's Chef Specials at Brickstone Brewhouse

Fall is officially here, and our kitchen is leaning all the way into it. This week's chef specials bring together a steakhouse classic, a burger built for a big appetite, a sweet-heat pizza straight from the brick oven, and a dessert that tastes like a cold October night by the fire. They're only around for the week, so don't wait too long.

Shrimp Cocktail — $17

Simple, classic and done the right way. Our jumbo shrimp are poached in a deeply seasoned broth of white wine, lemon juice, Worcestershire, garlic, onion, bay leaves, parsley, black pepper and red pepper flakes (plus a pinch of MSG for that extra savory kick), so every bite is packed with flavor before it ever hits the sauce.

And the sauce is all ours. Our house-made cocktail sauce blends ketchup and chili sauce with fresh horseradish, Worcestershire, Tabasco and a squeeze of lemon for a bright, punchy finish. It's the perfect way to start the night, especially with a cold one from our 24 taps.

Tavern Burger — $19

This one is for the serious burger lovers. We start with an 8 oz Wagyu patty and stack it high with crispy bacon strips, golden onion rings, lettuce and tomato, then smother it in our beer queso. It all comes together on a soft potato bun and is served with a side of fries.

Rich, crunchy, cheesy and just a little bit messy, exactly how a tavern burger should be.

No Rojo Pizza — $22

No red sauce, no problem. Our No Rojo pizza swaps the traditional tomato base for hot honey, then piles on mozzarella, pepperoni and dollops of creamy ricotta before it heads into the brick oven.

The result is the best kind of balance: sweet and spicy from the honey, salty and crisp from the pepperoni, and cool and creamy from the ricotta. If you've never tried hot honey on a pizza, this is your week.

Sticky Toffee Pudding — $12

Save room for this one. Our sticky toffee pudding is a fluffy molasses cake made with fig jam, brown sugar and butter, then finished with a warm toffee glaze of heavy cream, butter, brown sugar and vanilla.

It's sweet, cozy and comforting, the kind of dessert that makes you want to linger at the table a little longer. Grab a spoon for the table or keep it all to yourself. We won't judge.
